Research areas at Moorfields

Research for children and young people may take place in the:

  • NIHR Moorfields Clinical Research Facility – Level 2, 162 City Rd, EC1V 2PD

  • Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre – 3 Peerless St, EC1V 9EZ

Your study coordinator will direct you to where you should arrive.

Where to wait

  • We have waiting areas in both the NIHR Moorfields CRF (Level 2, City Road entrance) and the RDCEC (Level 2, Peerless Street entrance)

  • Speak to us if you are uncomfortable with where you are waiting and we can find you a different space.

  • Once you arrive, usually our research health play specialist will come and have a chat with you, to see if there is anything you would like, to support your visit and help make it as fun and relaxed as possible.
