About the Youth Forum

  • The Youth Forum is for young people aged 8 to 25.

  • You help Moorfields understand what young people think and need.

  • Your ideas help improve the hospital.

Our Patient Experience Principles

  • Proactivity – We look for ways to fix problems.

  • Collaboration – We work as a team with you.

What the Youth Forum Does

  • Talk about being a young patient.

  • Share ideas to make services better.

  • Help with fun projects.

  • Help staff understand young people's views.

What You Get

  • New skills and confidence.

  • Travel costs paid.

  • Snacks and drinks at meetings.

  • Certificates and references.

What We Ask From You

  • Try to come to most meetings (70%).

  • Be kind and respectful.

  • Keep private things private.

  • Fill in a consent form (parent/carer signs if under 16).

Photos and Videos

  • We may take photos or videos.

  • You can say YES or NO.

  • You do not have to be in any photos.

  • Don’t take or share your own photos from meetings on social media.

Leaving the Forum

  • You can leave the group at any time.
