Moorfields is holding their annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 10 July 2019 at St Luke’s, UBS and LSO Music Education Centre in London and is inviting all trust members to attend.
The AGM will begin with lunch at 1pm followed by the formal meeting at 2pm, where Moorfields chief executive David Probert will speak about the trust’s performance in the areas of both quality and finance over the last year.
The meeting will also feature the following keynote speakers:
- The ‘LiGHT’ Trial - laser treatment for glaucoma
Gus Gazzard, consultant ophthalmologist and service director for glaucoma
- The City Road services journey: from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’
Dilani Sirwardena, deputy medical director and divisional director, City Road
The afternoon will include an informal session to learn more about the Moorfields governors, their role and the ways in which you can get involved in helping improve the patient experience at Moorfields. Thiswill take place prior to lunch from 12pm to 1pmand will provide members with the opportunity to meet and network with their elected governors.
