Join our online patient engagement group

Moorfields Stratford recognises the value of engaging with and involving the patients we provide care for.

Under Moorfields Patient Experience Framework 2024-2028 we strive to ensure that staff and patients shape the care we provide and ensure that we are making a positive difference.

To achieve this, we want to:

  • Give every patient and carer the opportunity to provide regular feedback and share their stories, experiences, and preferences with us.
  • Ensure every staff member, patient and carer has the chance to contribute to improving services, and that everyone has a voice.

What is an online patient engagement group?

Every month staff, volunteers, patients and wider stakeholders meet online via MS Teams to discuss a range of topics relating to Moorfields Stratford. We meet every fourth Friday for one hour. We are keen to grow the patient representation we have at this meeting, to ensure that the patient voice is at the heart of everything we discuss. We are open to your ideas about what we talk about during this group, and we want to know what is important to you. Examples of topics discussed are patient involvement initiatives and activities, estates and facilities, the local community, PALs and Complaints, service updated and other topics as they arise.

What will we ask of you?

  • That you are able to access and join a meeting via MS Teams
  • That you will contribute to discussions online.
  • Tell us what works well and provide examples of excellent practice.
  • Help Moorfields make decisions about the services they provide, and shape future care.
  • Stakeholder representatives can provide insight on the needs of groups or individuals.
