The Moorfields Magazine, our official magazine for hospital staff, patients, carers, volunteers and visitors, has just released its latest issue, available to read now. This Spring 2024 edition takes a look at the future of eye care, with a spotlight on some of the amazing work being done today in stem cell therapy, artificial intelligence and the exciting research developments underway at the hospital.
Inside this issue we also spotlight some of our innovative surgical sites, which mean we’re able to offer sight-saving surgery at locations closer to home and more convenient to our patients, with interviews from different members of our theatre teams, those inside and outside theatres.
The magazine also shares the latest on the Prime Minister’s visit to the trust, the design exhibition for Oriel, our new centre for eye care, research and education, and some truly impressive staff and trust accolades including Moorfields receiving the NHS Pastoral Care Quality award.
