7 Moorfields Private consultants were named on The Ophthalmologist Power List 2025.
Every year, The Ophthalmologist magazine celebrates the top inspirational and influential clinicians, scientists and leaders in ophthalmology through their Power List. This year, they have cut the number of people recognised from 100 to 50, with a top 10 under each of five themes.

Professor Lyndon Da Cruz - consultant ophthalmic surgeon and service director of vitreoretinal surgery at Moorfields and Moorfields Private and professor of retinal stem cell and transplantation surgery at IoO.
Professor Mariya Moosajee - consultant ophthalmologist and head of the genetic service, professor of molecular ophthalmology at UCL IoO and the Francis Crick Institute.
Research
