About Professor Gus Gazzard

Professor Gus Gazzard is director of surgery and consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital, specialising in complex glaucoma and cataract treatment. He leads the LiGHT Trial, a landmark study on laser therapy for glaucoma, and has pioneered minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) techniques. With over 150 publications and global recognition, he offers expert care in SLT, MIGS surgery including Hydrus micro-stent, and complex cataract procedures. Prof. Gazzard is a key opinion leader in glaucoma management and delivers cutting-edge, patient-focused treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
