At Moorfields, our highest priority is ensuring our patients receive the very best eye care and patient experience. To support this, we have launched our first quality strategy. The quality strategy 2017 – 2022 sets out our ambitions, pledges and practical next steps in delivering outstanding patient care.
Our core belief is ‘people’s sight matters’. The strategy sets out what quality means at Moorfields, and will support us to work together to embed a culture of quality, make positive changes and drive behaviours to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
We want our quality strategy to support staff in leading and championing quality at a local level. This is why we engaged with staff, patients and stakeholders and used their feedback in developing this strategy. Thank you to all staff, patients and stakeholders who were involved.
The strategy supports our Vision of Excellence 2017 – 2022, and is a call to action for each and every person at Moorfields to play their part in improving quality. It outlines clear and measurable next steps that will make the strategy a reality.
