The RMT and TSSA unions have proposed a 24-hour strike from 6pm on Sunday 8 January until the end of service on Monday 9 January.
Patients with appointments at Moorfields sites in central London during this time should be advised that travel to and from your appointment may be disrupted. Please check the TFL website for updates on the planned strike action and plan alternative routes if necessary. You can also keep up-to-date by following @TFLTravelAlerts on Twitter.
If the strike goes ahead:
- The majority of stations in Zone 1 will be closed.
- Tube services will be severely disrupted with limited service on some lines and no service on others.
- There will be no Underground services calling at key mainline stations including Victoria, King's Cross, Waterloo, Paddington, Euston, Bank and London Bridge.
- The vast majority of London Overground and National Rail services are predicted to operate as normal, however they are expected to be much busier than usual.
Normal service is expected to resume on the morning of Tuesday 10 January.
